Our story
Alaska Road Adventures was started by Ekaterina Grebenkina, a native Russian, an American Citizen, and an Alaskan at heart.
The managing director trained in journalism and Public Relations but enjoyed many successful years working within Information Technology. Her true passion, however, was not living within the confines of 9 to 5 office life.
Her introverted nature was curious about new lands, experiences, and adventures. This passion has brought her to over 60 countries worldwide, and with such came many new skill sets. From 18, she was a Level 6 climber, a long-distance swimmer, and a Dive Master.

Ekaterina enjoys all outdoor activities, such as:
Orienteering, trailblazing, hiking, mountaineering, triathlons, biking, skiing, ice skating, ice-climbing, skydiving, kayaking, and windsurfing. She is an experienced multidisciplinary rope access technician keen on shooting and fishing.

Ekaterina is a qualified guide with an excellent reputation.
She works closely with several reputable tour operators in the United States. She has developed a trusted network of guides and service providers in Alaska.
